Foundational Frequencies

Updated: May 8

The metaphysical ground of the Real - that foundational layer of our ontology comprising all that comes into existence - is an ever-shifting ground: A movement of relational, contextual reconstrual that creates novelty through efficient symmetry in the natural world. Forces and elemental features of our universe take their form as object-relational structures, some of which come in and out of existence at various stages, until stabilized by another shifting system in proximity. Quantum field topography provides us a blueprint of the fluctuating, organizational structure of our subatomic world. This scale-free manner in which systems form oscillating patterns is the meta-ontological foundation of how most all matter interrelates in the universe, creating resonance that couples them together to form more complexity in the universe. The relational movement of energy creates the fluid nature of matter that requires us to rethink reality at its core. Fundamentally, it is the process of optimizing tensions in a given relational structure that generates information from the configuration of that system that creates synergy, and out of which emerges the layered intricate order of the universe. I encourage you to listen to the magnificent synthesis put forth by John Vervaeke in his 50-hour lecture series called Awakening from the Meaning Crisis to fully grasp this notion.

All natural things in our world have this more fluid scaffolding which allows for interaction and influence. This powerful, dynamic view of the interdependence of matter at all levels of being highlights our role in nature: we are a species that manifests the greatest degree of freedom due to our expansive mindscapes. The dynamic interplay of all that exists continues in how humans co-create the world. We are a product of our environment and a catalyst of change within it. But when we couple this view of our agency with a recognition of the resonate foundation of the universe, we can more clearly see our ability to create change in our lives, in our communities, and on the larger scale of developing greater synergy that leads to higher order consciousness, that is cosmic consciousness. This re-visioning is the first step towards future sustainability and social justice.

So what exactly is a resonate theory of matter?

Theoretical physics is interested in the fundamental nature of matter beyond the subatomic level. We see with the history and philosophy of science that our best account of the fundamental nature of matter is the movement of quantum fields that make up our universe. Considering a world beyond the standard theory in physics, beyond the quarks of an atom, beyond the quantum void, into the space of geometrical symmetries such as E8 lattices within string theory, we enter a space of relational structuring from the shifting ground on up. Now, while there is not a consensus on what the geometrical structure of the universe is exactly, we are moving closer to recognizing, studying and intuiting the formal (some would say sacred) patterns that give rise to universal first principals. As Michael Levine likes to say, there are patterns in nature that give us free information, such as a triangle where knowledge of two sides gives you the 3rd side "for free". At higher levels of energy structures we witness the movement of the cosmic frequencies that make up the stable universe, stable in that the information that structures those frequencies build-up to create persistent resonate patterns. The cosmic ground gives rise to the natural world on our planet along very specific, yet fluid, relational structures. Electromagnetic waves, microwaves, radio waves, sound waves, all manner of field interactions, influence our world here on Earth. Our bodies are connected to these frequencies at the energetic level of our being through bio-electric fields that generate auras and connect us to the quantum ground and influence our biorhythms. Energy and sound (vibrational) healing work through these interactions, as does epigenetic restructuring and alternative therapeutic modalities.

We are in direct contact with our environment, as is every other thing in our world; this is the idea behind Gaia, the energetic soul of nature. And here is the most exciting part about that. We have the intrinsic ability to change, to grow as any other natural system, to become more in-tune with the universe which provides healing energy at all levels of being - our energetic (bio-rhythmic), biochemical, physiological, psycho-social, and emotional development occurs through the interplay of all of those prior systems building in the natural world. Insight, wisdom and values that guide our personal and social development emerge through the same metaphysical process of optimizing tensions that allowed human beings to develop self-awareness and meta-cognition; seizing on the practice of grasping and discernment that the reiterative and reflexive cognitive and energetic interactions in our world promote. At every level of our existence we follow the relational, contextual restructuring of the metaphysical ground that creates the resonate nature of reality. This is the focus of Curist Mind, that is the metaphysical ground of healing.

Creating flow-states in our daily lives enhances the mind-body-spirit alignment that naturally generates synergy around us as we animate these varied systems within and surrounding us (influencing our relationships with people, places and things). Practices that create flow-states (music, dance, chanting, rhythmic breathing) are one of the universal aspects of spirituality, present among all religions and traditions throughout human history. We have an intrinsic need for interaction with natural systems and spaces that contain higher energy fields, for that is the process of synergy that moves along the metaphysical boundary of the universe as a novelty seeking engine. Recognizing how to manipulate these relational fields through an optimization of wisdom for greater insight for our betterment is the primary goal of this Curist Mind philosophy.

Everything in the universe has a particular frequency structure (which translates as information) due to the dynamic, foundational structure of matter at the quantum level, once it is differentiated from the quantum field. From the zero-point field of the quantum void, to the complex features of organic lifeforms on up through the magnificent development of the human brain (principally our mindscapes), a variety of frequencies and oscillating patterns generate synchronous systems; a hierarchy of embedded resonate systems that exist in tandem with their environment. Each system, no matter how elemental, carries information that shapes our world and makes it intelligible to us through a multiplicity of ways of knowing; intuitive, participatory, contemplative, reflective thinking, deduction/induction, experimental knowledge. This deeper understanding of how our world and universe are structured that includes our role as co-creators, of knowledge and new technologies, highlights the healing path for social and personal transformation, and helps us resolve the perennial problems that plague us.

Curist minds see the various connections to this ground (the Real structure of matter) and can collectively move society onto a healing and synergistic path of sustainable development: Harnessing the principal generative power of the universe, that of relational synergy, to create systems of social, political and cultural import that lead to sustainable future pathways. How we view the nature of reality impacts how we live out our daily lives.

To see the world with a renewed sense of our connection to the natural systems of our Earth, the foundational source of energy in our world, gives us a huge array of points of contact to create synergistic energy between us and our environment. Movement, dance, connection to water, anything that creates that flow-state that dissolves our sense of self, our ego, into the oneness of the universe has the power to move us into a state of well-being. We build-up our inner spirit, our energy reserves, through nature, through enriching relationships, through active participation in supporting others (all types of others) and that is what establishes resilience in life. When we can mitigate stress in moments of hardship, we can balance our lives and create happiness within, even amidst uncontrollable circumstances. When we see the framing of our place in an interconnected world we increase our agency and we develop an ethical compass. Importantly, a resonate theory of matter creates a holistic worldview where the natural environment becomes an integral part of our assessment of projects and policies in our community and society that creates sustainable practices as a matter of priority. We understand that we are part of the larger movement of life and that grounds our purpose and our dignity no matter what we contribute to society, as long as we contribute something for the greater good.

By foregrounding new ecosystems of action, the dynamical systems that make up our world show us the clear ways in which our actions, no matter how small, add up to influence and actualize the wide array of possibilities that play into our personal health, the health of our immediate communities and the healing of our societies, and the environment as a whole. We can each make a difference in our lives by recognizing and internalizing the energetic connections that shape wisdom and insight that yield happiness and personal meaning. We create a feedback loop when we build up our communities by adding our voice, our talents and our positive impacts in our local areas to create a supportive and thriving community around us, generating synergistic support and creating outlets for the positive development of the next generation.

Oftentimes, however, the only way we can reflect, reframe and optimize our co-creative capacities is when we settle our minds and build habits to expand our mindscapes, through self-care that opens the possibility to sense and to hear the intuitive voice that guides each of us to our purpose, to fulfill our passions and develop our greater Self. This is the first step to healing our spaces and creating synergistic connections with the people, places and creatures around us. The flow state necessary to move from introspection to contemplation to action can come from so many places and will resonate differently for each of us, but the process of relational shifting remains at the core. When we live among other individuals, by extension within communities, that prioritize this necessary process for growth, we feel the higher order energy that is generated and it moves the enterprise forward. This is the powerful pull that spiritual growth provides.

Ultimately, sustainable changes for our personal growth and community sustainability can only come from the ground up, beginning with how we see the world. Communities that support their local environments and interactions with neighboring communities build healthy cities and towns by advocating for the sustainable development of their local and surrounding areas. Citizens that live in these thriving communities are more likely to expect similar sustainable and just systems at the larger state and national level, and thus will be more likely to make those changes through the power of their purse or voting pressures. Underrepresented groups become more visible and valued by society when we fully embrace a holistic perspective of our environment and the different niches (communities) that emerge in varied environments (honoring diversity). The importance of the parts (different people and places) does not diminish in light of the larger system of humanity; instead, together we create our growing cosmic consciousness. This allows us to see what ties us together as human beings, in the larger context of our place in the universe. Our role as co-creators crystalizes.

When humanity first saw planet Earth from space televised in 1960, we instantly developed a collective cosmic consciousness. Set against the backdrop of the expansive universe, for the first time we saw ourselves as one. One people, one love. One humming frequency called humanity.
