Curist Mind encourages Spirit activism through acts of transformation. Spirit activism begins with compassion for oneself and others by recognizing and caring for the world we have the amazing ability to co-create. This is best achieved through self-love and extending care and affection in our community engagements. There are so many iterations of community in our lives and they are all held together by the same force: the force of attraction that moves through life.
A Curist philosophy provides a lens to clearly see this Spirit-filled world; recognizing that love and caring, which is that eros-imbued energy that permeates the universe as attraction, is necessary for relational systems to interact and dynamically shift to create the world we help shape. The most direct way for us to become Spirit activists that help move our society in a positive direction is through a re-connection with the larger cosmic world that we can directly experience through nature, and through all types of synergistic activities that generate passion and happiness in our life. In its attempt to create healthy and energizing relationships in our lives that mimic the universal principles of life, Curist mind creates a preventative heuristic by encouraging the development of cosmic consciousness through a re-visioning of reality as relational. Seeing the threads that tie us to the natural order, and the mechanism by which we transcend them as we create a sacred stance with the world, helps emphasize the importance of movement and growth of one's Spirit, one's inner development, in-line with the synergistic movement in the world that ties us to the cosmic life-force, often through various practices, or ways of connecting, which make up the healing arts.
A heuristic is defined as a set of mental shortcuts that help create an adequate solution to a complex experience, such as living as co-creators in this world with the power to shift the evolutionary structures of our world. Through a heuristic of the healing arts, we connect with the metaphysical ground of becoming (of relational shifting) that establishes a sacred stance in our world when approached holistically, integrating our mind, body and spiritual centers. This stance is made sacred by generating Agape in our world, a deep caring for life made possible by an integration of our experience as multi-layered beings, with love and intellect, that allows us to live intentionally with a sustainable and regenerative worldview.
This healing arts heuristic, which is again the development of a strategy when faced with complex problems, touches on the perennial problems that humanity has always faced, long-standing existential questions and dealings with our shortcomings as a human species with a profound ability to create and destroy. We recognize that today it is compounded by many social issues that are expressed in the decline of health, happiness and biodiversity in much of the world. A curist mindframe focuses on the metaphysics of the healing arts as a heuristic that can help us solve many of our most pressing issues through personal transformation that has the power to move our communities and society onto a synergistic path that incorporates well-being for all aspects of life, in part by highlighting the foundational aspects of reality that the healing arts connect us with. It is the source of their strength as a heuristic, as a set of practices to bring about a solution through a sacred and connected stance to the universe, that can be described as cosmic consciousness.
Pointing out the metaphysical foundations of the healing arts shows the source of their healing, the source of their potency, to be tied to the life-force in the universe. By highlighting the importance of all variety of healing arts for our well-being and enjoyment in life, including the embrace our potential for growth and happiness in this world, we can support preventative mental health, provide a healthy, pervasive spiritual focus in our society, and create energetic connections with nature and Spirit, and enrich our relationships and our lives. Participating in art, music, energy work, breath work, nature therapy or movement through dance, swimming, or flow state activities all lead to healing spaces for growth, gratitude and curiosity. There are so many paths that can get us there. Taking time to get to know yourself on a deep and authentic level brings about the change necessary in this world to shift onto a synergistic path through intentional living that promotes your well-being and the social changes that generate agape.
Our natural world is structured by relational shifting that shapes our reality as extended layers of patterned systems built up over time into the diversity of movement that we experience. The organizing structure of the most fundamental level of what exists and how it exists is tied together through the structural differences of vibrational energy frequencies that convey information as an organizing structure. The relational restructuring of energy that forms the world, and structures our lives, shapes our reality in the natural world and our inner lives fueled by ideas, imagination and creativity. At the quantum level, reality is fluid, yet at the macro level there is a structural organizing dynamic at play that we explore with fascination through science and mathematics, through artistic exploration and everything in between. Reality, at its core, has a consistent, yet fluid, nature that we are able to access and harness for our well-being by seeing through the holistic lens of the creative foundations of life that Curist Mind brings to intentional living. Our co-creative capacities allow us to manipulate time and space, and extend our reach through many realms of existence: The bio-energetic level of our embodied state, the intellectual scope of our mindscapes that extend outwards to the cosmic dimensions and inwardly to the depth of our being, which ties us to the spiritual, Spirit-filled, movement that is motivated by agape, by a deep caring, that we are capable of through the holistic interplay of these aspects of ourselves.
At all complex levels of organization, we see teleos at play, a directionality in the development of life, and that direction is shaped by novelty and change through the fluid nature of relational dynamics: the foundational structure of reality. The human race is an amazingly complex system of resonant and networked, hierarchical systems from our biological states of being through our social and cultural systems that transform the human experience. There is an iteration of development in the growth of Spirit that directs a teleos of relational energy to higher order development. What begins as energetic structural differences leads to the creation of Spirit, as eros-imbued energy, or what we can understand as affection in the world. It moves our human experience into what I consider cosmic consciousness, or the growth of a worldview that provides a sacred stance within our world. We have the wonder-ful (full of wonder) and the horrific honor (given its existential gravity) to participate in the co-creation of Life on a fundamentally different sphere of existence than the rest of nature: due to our expansive realm of consciousness and meta-conscious abilities that makes movement possible through our mindscapes and our innovation that makes co-creation so inspiring. We are introspective and contemplative beings, that is the Way to wisdom and healing through the exploration of being, of living full lives. We also have an ethical responsibility to recognize the source of our power as having a dual role, to coexist with and to change our world. This realization helps us choose synergistic growth over and above basic greed; to choose resonance and rich diversity over loss and destruction due to our shortsightedness.
The integrated and expansive energy that creates the human condition is the source of co-creativity, fueled by curiosity and innovation that is not unique to humans, but is uniquely positioned for us to influence the development of life. Our co-creative capacities create an artificial world superimposed over the natural world that initially supports us. The social and cultural systems that we have created over time orient the development of this co-created world that we operate in. Understanding this dynamic allows us to see the agency all creatures posses to influence our world, while highlighting the direct influence we have to create with synergy, or to destroy with or without intention. Curist Mind's mission is to influence intentional living that hones in on the synergistic and growth mechanism inherent in the metaphysical structure of our world that we participate in; that we can harness for the energetic and spiritual development that we all need for our well-being and for the sustainable growth of our world, both natural and artificial.
Our human condition grasps the Spirit of the universe through intuitive connection with the energetic ground of being, through art, beauty, the sublime - those quintessential elements of Spirit that shape us differently, uniquely, energetically imbued to what moves us and stirs our passions. The healing arts are just that, art forms that connect energetic and practical instruction, just as drawing, or crafting music, or exploring the culinary arts require technique and talent (or passion), that taps into a resonant connection through participation in the act of creation. We are co-creators, with each moment that we live, with each decision that shapes us and influences our lived spaces. The nature of reality gives us this gift of creativity and innovation. Affection is the key to fluid movement with the unfolding universe, as it is energy that moves with purpose. Self-love is an important part of how we move in the world. To say that Curist Mind inspires Spirit activists is to accentuate the divine instantiation of the cosmos in our participation with creation, the actualization of the potentiality of life that comes through for most of us in our hobbies, commitments and relationships. A worldview that highlights the creative, shifting nature of our relational reality that exists along the boundary of routine (consistency through patterns) and novelty (the edge of change), again made up of constant inward and outward movement of perspective. Mindfulness exercises help us establish this movement. The liminal space, the boundary zone, is the creative space of growth, of reiteration and change in response to developing our connection with our world and others, concretely through intentional living.
Energy and information are transferred at the boundary zones to create the organizing structures of our world. Fluid movement with the creative ground of life connects us to the metaphysics of healing. Focusing on the fluid nature of the universe and our reality in social systems allows us to see the connections between systems of thought that thread us together by pointing to the vibrational and energetic layers where this fluidity stems from, allowing us to grasp the relational structure of the world that informs our social and interpersonal systems of organization and sense-making - precisely to shine a light on the ground of becoming. Recognizing that all systems have nodes where integration leads to synergy as the energetic buildup of creative growth, of the free energy principle that perpetuates Markov blankets in the relational web of life, helps us see how our creative capabilities stem from the unfolding patterns in the universe. We emulate nature and establish sustainable growth and holistic development of our Self, and by extension the evolution of society, when we attune ourselves and participate in practices, and form relationships, that are focused on higher valence nodes. We feel the difference in our lives when we are in tune, such as when we feel in sync with someone new in our life, we feel that energy boost that we receive from that relationship. Or from any activity that moves us into a flow-state that generates internal energy and alignment. Sensing higher energy and synergistic connection with our passions, or with high energy centers in the natural world, is the best way to recharge on the daily. The potency of energy is highest when found internally, but also within certain natural centers, sacred centers, that hold immense positive valence as well.
The ocean provides us this high energy space because it is a living organism with its own internal systems that resonate with our very being, as our connection in nature easily attunes us to the sacred ground of the universe. The healing arts in all of its variety also connect us to these energy centers within ourselves and at times by manipulating the energy fields that exist around us, such as the vibrational structures that we constrain when we play musical instruments. But just as Spirit transcends the natural world, so do we through our intellect, through our mindscapes that connect us to the ethereal space beyond our physical world. The healing arts tap into this realm of being. Some practices, such as dancing to certain types of music, help us connect more directly to the healing ground by bridging the physical energetic layers of our being with the emotive and transformative features of our mind. The metaphysical ground of the healing arts that creates introspective and contemplative movement within us is the source of their potency for helping us establish wellness and synergistic growth. All forms of art can get us into these resonant flow-states that lead to higher valence within us. Energy work that uses sound, however, can be very effective at creating a direct bio-electrical feedback that has profound healing effects. Dance, music, live concerts, sound baths, they have diverse and profound effects on our biochemistry that helps establish holistic health - mind, body, and spiritual well-being - by virtue of their relational dynamics that allow us to shift our Spirit.
There are passive ways to heal as well. Such as forest bathing, or taking slow walks through tree lined paths. This form of healing art is called shinrin-yoku in Japanese practice, developed in Japan in the 1980s during which time Phytoncides were discovered to play a crucial role in our immunological health. These are antimicrobial and antifungal organic compounds that emanate from trees and shrubbery providing health benefits that fight off infections. Grounding within sacred natural space helps reduce stress and boost mood through holistic mechanisms that our neurophysiology taps into. Again, there are countless of forms of healing arts, and they all target diverse aspects of our lived experiences.
Curist mind highlights the diversity of interconnections that allow us to see the intricate order in the universe, and aims to establish well-being and synergistic growth by aligning action and intentional living for community enrichment that supports the reiterative structure of nature through society. A direct energetic connection with nature helps us build healthy lives and highlights a sustainable path to improve society. So too does an intellect-driven connection with this wondrous world of relationships when we begin to see beyond the veil.
The path to overall wellness moves us to cultivate this divine connection through the myriad nodes and networks that exist within and around us. Concretely, human to nature and human to human relationships that mimic a cooperative and fluid substructure of reality help us thrive. We create a sacred stance that generates meaning and happiness in our life when we develop this cosmic consciousness. With a clearer grasp of our place in the world, we create a divine connection with every aspect of our existence, giving rise to different expressions of meaningful points of awe and wonder. This is the fertile ground from which we craft our personal happiness and guide behavior that leads to sustainable growth through a multiplicity of mindscapes and pathways.
A Curist mindset through Spirit-activism resolves many perennial problems and paradoxes by recognizing and harnessing the resonate dynamics that shapes us.
Intuition helps us uncover the passions or talents connecting us to the energetic core of our being for our personal wellness. Self-care, curiosity and wonder are important components of Spirit-activism (among other attributes) that allow us to move society into synergistic balance.
